A Little Bit About Me
From an early age, I was deeply curious about human behavior: why we think, feel, and act the way we do. In fact, I was so curious that my childhood nickname was Nosy Rosie. That curiosity continued to grow and as I got older I realized that we all have a story that helps makes sense of two things: who we are and what happened to us.
I don’t have all the answers to why people do the things they do, but I do have language, perspective, and a deeper understanding of human behavior. I know that issues like anxiety, depression, and trauma can be passed down across generations. I know our earliest years with caregivers shape the foundation for how we relate to others. And I also know that just one compassionate, co-regulating support person can help rewire the roadmap of the brain.
I’ve also learned that while trauma can feel like an identity, but it doesn’t have to define who we are. This belief has guided my work for nearly a decade as I’ve supported individuals and families in settings ranging from in-home family counseling and foster parent training to case management and clinical therapy with children, adults, and couples.
These experiences shaped my understanding of how trauma shows up across the lifespan and how healing looks different for everyone. Today, my work is grounded in evidence-based, integrative approaches like EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and trauma-informed care. My goal is to create a space that feels safe, collaborative, and deeply respectful of your story. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, grief, life transitions, or the lingering effects of trauma, I want to walk alongside you as you discover your capacity for healing and resilience.
